The finer details...
A deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking with the remaining to be paid on the day of the photoshoot. In the event the client is late, we reserve the right to reduce the studio time.
2. Deliverables: The client shall receive high-resolution, edited digital images from the photo shoot. We aim to deliver this within 14 days. The client has the right to purchase more from the photographer. The images will be kept on file for 3 months from the date of delivery. After this time, we cannot guarantee access to the images and may remove them from their database. Clients are advised to back up their images to prevent loss of data. The photographer reserves the right to select the final photos and will only present the final edited photos.
3. Photographer's Rights and Ownership: The Photographer shall retain all rights to the photographs taken during the photo shoot, including but not limited to copyright ownership. The client agrees not to edit, alter, or manipulate the photographs without the express written consent of the Photographer. The client grants the Photographer permission to use the photographs for portfolio, website, social media, contests, print and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing. The photographer grants permission for the client to print or distribute the provided photos as they wish.
4. Liability: The Photographer and Client acknowledge that they will conduct themselves in a professional manner during the shoot and shall not hold each other liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur.
5. Cancellation: A strict cancellation policy of 7 days exists to protect the interest of the business. Failure to provide 7 days written notice will result in loss of the deposit. Due to the nature of photography services being personal and customised, there are no refunds one the photoshoot has taken place. Clients acknowledge that the photographer's time and resources have been allocated to their session.
6. Creative Control: The photographer retains creative control over the photoshoot. Clients acknowledge that they are familiar with the style and skills of the photographer and are comfortable with their approach to photography.
